1965 Missouri State Tournament

Despite a strong wind and cool weather, Paul Lattray of Webster Groves piled up 11 straight wins to lay claim to the Missouri State Title for the fourth straight year, making it a total of 6-State Titles spanning 27 years, with his first one being in 1938. The tournament was played during the annual Missouri State Fair at Sedalia, MO. Bob Bales of Kansas City was top qualifier with 256 points and 78 ringers out of 100 shoes pitched.

Vicki Winston of LaMonte and former Women's World Champion was the only lady pitcher to participate and finished in 5th place in class "B".

In the annual election, Earl Winston continues as President for one more year. Charles Killgore, Vice-President and Harold Heidel, Secretary/Treasurer.
