1962 Missouri State Tournament

In one of the best Missouri State Tournaments on record, Paul Lattray set a terrific pace to win the 1962 State Championship. Although his game of 102 shoes and 78.4% with Ray Cavin of St. Joseph who had an identical percentage was the longest game of the tournament, he still managed to come out on top, despite the fact that Cavin beat him. Winston came up with the highest single game of 83.9%. Bob Bales threw the most ringers in the round robin racking up 566 ringers.

Everyone was pleased with the beautiful trophy presented by The Miller Brewing Company and many nice comments were heard around the courts.
